1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Crisco shortening
1/3 c. sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
5 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix tog ether sugars and Crisco then add in sour cream, eggs and vanilla. Add flour together with salt and soda and add. Once mixed together add nuts. Divide dough into 3 or 4 parts and roll each part into a long roll about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 12-15 " long. Wrap in wax paper and cool in refrigerator. Cut into slices and bake at 375. No time was listed on recipe! Mom used to put into freezer and then just cut off enough to make some fresh, hot cookies.
