1 One-Egg Cake batter
2 T melted butter
½ c brown sugar
slices of well-drained fruit

Prepare One-Egg Cake batter. Cover the bottom of shallow cake pan with waxed paper. Cover with melted butter, brown sugar, and a layer of sliced, well-drained pineapple or other cooked fruit. Cover with cake batter. Bake in moderate oven (375° F.) about 35 minutes. - The Household Searchlight.
