"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I got this recipe from my neighbor Mitzi Burgher when I lived in Roanoke, VA. This cake is so light and refreshing and it makes a great summer cake. Most grocery stores sell angel food cakes so you can use one of those to make a quick and easy dessert.
