English Walnuts
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, water, cinnamon and salt to soft ball stage. Add vanilla. Spread nuts on cookie sheet and warm slightly. Remove from oven and pour hot sugar mixture over nuts and toss. Cool and store. Nice snack for holidays.
