VEGETABLES:
1 qt. celery (cut in short lengths)
1 qt. lima beans (green)
1 qt. carrots (diced)
2 peppers (1 green and 1 red, chopped)
1 pt. corn
1 pt. small pickles or sliced large one
1 small head cauliflower
1 qt. string beans (short lengths)
4 green tomatoes (chopped)
1 can small pickling onions (or large sliced)

JUICES:
5 cup vinegar (see note)
1 1/2 cup water
5 cup sugar
1/4 cup salt

Directions:
Directions:
Season with salt and precook lima beans, carrots and string beans until almost tender. Mix remaining vegetables with juice and boil 10 to 15 minutes. Pack in jars and seal.

Note: If vinegar is very strong, add more water and sugar. Cook recooked vegetables separately.
