Oil - As needed
Onion(small) - 100g
Green chilly - 5
Tomato - 4
Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp.
Chicken - 1kg
Coriander leaves - few

Roast & Grind:
Fennel seeds - 1tsp.
Pepper - 1tsp.
Cardamom - 1
Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp.
Poppy Seeds - 1tsp.
Cinammom - 1 stick
Cloves - 2
Roasted Gram - 1tbsp.
Coconut - 2tbsp.
Directions:
Directions:
Dry roast the ingredients given for grinding.Allow them to cool and grind it to a fine paste.
Take a pan and pour some oil as needed, when it heats add fennel seeds,onion,curry leaves. Fry till the onion gets transparent. Add ginger garlic paste,green chillies and saute it. Then add the tomatoes, turmeric powder,hilly powder and saute it. Add some salt to it. Now add the cleaned chicken pieces and saute it. Close the lid and leave it for 15 min to boil the chicken. Then add the grinded paste to it with some water. Check the salt level. Leave it for 15 min to mix the masala with the chicken and gets the thick gravy. Finally add coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chapathi
