1 can whole water chestnuts
1 lb. bacon strips, cut in half or thirds
3/4 c. ketchup
1 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Wrap water chestnuts in strips of bacon. Secure with toothpicks. Place on baking tray.
3. Cook for 30 minutes or until bacon is cooked. Drain off fat.
4. Make sauce by combining ketchup and brown sugar thoroughly. Cover bacon and chestnuts with sauce.
5. Heat in 350°F oven until sauce is bubbly (about 30 minutes).
6. Serve hot.
