1 1/2 C flour
2 eggs
1/2 C water
pinch of salt


Directions:

Mix all ingredients together.
Using 2 spoons, spoon into boiling water.
Let boil a few minuets, till cooked and they begin to float.
Add to Huliski or Chicken Noodle soup.

Gram Madeja was an awesome cook, her simplicity stood out. Everything she made she did with love. One day she showered me with a blessing, by giving me her special stainless steel bowl with a thumb holder to make these in. This is the bowl she used most often. How lucky I was to receive it. That bowl is cherished. As I prepare the dumplings I think of her laughter. It was infectious. She was warm and inviting. She treated all or us with her generous giving spirit.
Tim just loved to eat this by the bowl full.
