Ingredients:
1 Whole Chicken
1 Onion
Spices
Olive Oil

Directions:
Directions:
Cut up onion and place in bottom of crock pot.

Take whole chicken and coat with olive oil and seasoning of your choice.

Place chicken on top of onion.

Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.

When it is done, remove chicken and what is left makes a great chicken gravy! You can strain out the onion or leave the onion, place in a pot and heat and add corn starch mixed with water a little at a time. Yummy on top of mashed potatoes!!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
For the onion, I normally use yellow or Vidalia for a sweeter onion. I am sure that you could use chicken pieces, I have just always done a whole chicken. As far as seasoning, I have done lemon pepper, there is rotisserie chicken seasonings that I have used, it can be whatever you want! Experiment and enjoy!
