1 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. quick oats
2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Mix well. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven 10 - 12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool one minute before removing from cookie sheet to a cooling rack.
