6 c water
2 beef bouillon cubes
6 - 8 medium potatoes (skin on, scrubbed and cubed)
1 c diced yellow onion
1 tube Jimmy Dean regular sausage (reduced fat is great too)
3/4 lb bacon
2 c chopped kale
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Heat a large pot or dutch oven over medium heat, add in the bacon, jimmy dean sausage and onion, cook until the onion is tender and the meat is cooked through.

Drain off the excess fat and add the potatoes to the pot, stir to coat. Meanwhile, dissolve bouillon cubes in 6 cups of water in a smaller pot over medium heat and add to the large pot. Cook until the potatoes are tender, then add in the remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 min.

Garnish with crackers and, if you like spicy red pepper flakes!
