6 oz butter
6 oz shortening
(or 1 1/2 cup combined fats)
2 c white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c molasses
3 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter/ shortening, add sugar then eggs and molasses

Combine flour soda and spices - sift together then add to the butter mixture

Chill dough for 2-3 hours. Roll into balls - don't press down.

Bake at 375º for 8 minutes in a preheated oven
