9” unbaked pie shell
Veggies - broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes - diced
1/2 lbs bacon
2 cups (8 oz) grated Swiss cheese
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups light cream
3/4 teaspoon salt
dash of each - nutmeg, cayenne, pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1) Prepare pie shell and refrigerate until ready to use
2) Preheat oven to 375°
3) Fry bacon until crisp; drain on a paper towel; crumble into bits
4) Sprinkle bacon, then veggies, then grated cheese over bottom
of prepared pie shell
5) In medium bowl, with rotary beater, beat eggs with light cream
until well combined but not frothy
6) Add salt and seasonings (if desired)
7) Pour into pie shell
8) Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes or until the top is golden
and it seems firm when gently shaken
9) Let cool on a wire rack 10 minutes before cutting and serving
