Elbow Macaroni 1 1/2 cups raw
Butter 3 Tablespoons
Flour 3 Tablespoons
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Milk 1 1/2 cups
Onion 1/4 cup, finely chopped
Cheddar Cheese 2 cups, grated (my favorite is longhorn)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook elbow macaroni in boiling salted water till tender; drain.
2. Saute onion in melted butter; blend in flour, salt and pepper.
3. Add milk all at once. Stir till thick and bubbly.
4. Add cheese; stir till melted. Add macaroni.
5. Turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
7. Top with more grated cheese and return to oven till golden brown.
