This recipe originates with Susan's mother, who lived next door to Jane and Tom Zimmerman in Smyrna, ME. Jane and Tom's son, James Zimmerman spent a lot of time in Gramma's (Susan's mom) kitchen.

Marine 1st Lt. James Zimmerman was killed in action on November 2, 2010 at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, from wounds received while conducting combat operations.
