3 1/3 cups sifted flour
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground clove
1 cup oil
4 eggs
2 cups canned pumpkin
2/3 cup water
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, add the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove together; set aside. In a large bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients except for the pecans. Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients; mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour into 2 greased bread pans. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for one hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

This great pumpkin bread recipe is from our Great Aunt Florence. It is very rich and moist, tasting more like a cake than a quick bread!
