One 14–16 ounce ribeye steak.

Cup of brown sugar
half a cup of soy sauce
Bourbon whiskey
Tabasco sauce or equivalent
2+ tablespoons Dijon mustard

Marinade;

Combined everything but the bourbon and cook until sugar is dissolved and caramelized. Add the bourbon and cook another for five minutes until all the alcohol is burned off.

Baste your steak as you cook it in the cast-iron skillet for about four minutes on each side. Baste constantly to create a caramel glaze
