1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries, dusted with flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter; add sugar gradually. Beat in eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients, alternately with milk. Fold in vanilla and blueberries. Gently scoop the batter into 24 paper-lined muffin pans. Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 20 minutes.

We have yet to find a blueberry muffin that tastes better than our great grandmother Louisa's recipe.
