2 cups applesauce
2 cups sugar
3/4 cups Wesson oil
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together applesauce, sugar and oil in a large bowl; set aside.
Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to the first mixture and then add the nuts, raisins and vanilla. Stir until mixed well.
Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350º for 1/2 hour. Then at 300º for 1 hour.

Momma gave this to me years ago. It was from Grandma Croxton, and it is by far the best applesauce cake.
