2 lbs. boneless beef chuck roast cut in 1 inch cubes
2 large onions
3 stalks celery
1 large green pepper
1 large red pepper
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 jalapeņo peppers
4 cloves garlic
3 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. ground turmeric
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cardamom
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. molasses
1/2 cup dry red wine
2 - 16 oz cans whole tomatoes undrained and chopped
1 16 oz can garbanzo beans, drained

Sour cream and cheddar cheese for serving

In large Dutch Oven cook first 8 ingredients in olive oil over medium high heat, stirring constantly until meat is browned. Drain and return to Dutch Oven. Stir in cocoa powder and next 13 ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

Serve with sour cream and cheese over rice.
