Crust:
1 cup warm water
1 TB yeast
½ tsp sugar
1 TB oil
2 tsp salt
2 – 3 cups flour
Sauce:
2 - 8oz cans tomato sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 TB oregano
1 tsp Italian spice (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
For crust: Combine water, yeast, and sugar. Wait until bubbly. Add oil, salt & flour. Knead together. Let rest while making sauce. Roll out crust. Spread sauce on top. Top with favorite toppings – pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, pepper, mozzarella cheese, etc.

Growing up we only got to go out for pizza as a rare treat. During our teen years, mom made most of the pizza that we ate.
