1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 T milk
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate candy kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Shape dough into balls using a rounded teaspoonful for each cookie. Roll in additional sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375º for 10 to 12 minutes or until a golden brown. Remove from oven and press a candy kiss into each cookie so it cracks around the edge.
