For the sauce:
2 28 oz cans of crushed tomatoes
3-4 cloves of garlic, minced
1-2 tbsp of Italian seasoning
½ cup of Parmesan cheese
1-2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp of red pepper flakes
Salt & pepper to taste

For the meatballs:
½ lb of ground beef
½ lb of ground pork
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1-2 tbsp of parsley (fresh or dried)
1 egg
¼ cup of Parmesan cheese
¼ cup of breadcrumbs (Italian or plain)
Salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
For the sauce:
1. Heat olive oil in a large pan.
2. Sauté garlic for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.
3. Add red pepper flakes and sauté for 1 minute.
4. Add the cans of tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
5. Reduce heat until sauce is simmering.
6. Add salt & pepper to taste.
7. Let the sauce simmer while you get the meatballs together.

For the meatballs:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
2. Form mixture into balls and place them directly into the sauce.
3. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer until meatballs are cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
