Butterscotch Rolls Recipe

1 3 oz. pkg butterscotch pudding
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk or cream
1/2 c. butter or oleo
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
4 - 4 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pudding with evaporated milk or cream till thick. Remove from heat and add butter. Cool. Add yeast which has been dissolved in warm water. Add salt and eggs and mix well. Then add flour. Knead lightly. Let rise till doubled in bulk ( only once). Roll dough in a circle and spread filling on and roll up and slice into 1" slices. Bake at 350º about 20 minutes.

Filling:
combine 1/4 c. melted butter, 2/3 c. brown sugar, 2/3 c. coconut, 2 T. flour, nuts (optional)

Frosting:
2 T. butter,softened, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 2 T. milk, 1 c. powdered sugar
Mix together and spread on hot rolls when baked and just out of the oven.
