1 box chocolate fudge cake mix
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup miniature chocolate chips
1 container whipped chocolate frosting, optional, or your own recipe

FROSTING
1 cup sugar
5 T butter (1/3 cup)
1/3 cup milk
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven To 350º. Grease and flour 25 x 10 x 1 inch or 13 x 9 pan, or spray with baking spray with flour.

In large bowl, gently mix dry cake mix with pie filling, eggs and chocolate chips with a rubber scraper; break up any undissolved cake mix by pressing scraper. Carefully spread in pan.

Bake 25 x 10 x 1 in pan for 25 to 30 minutes, 13 x 9 pan 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely, about an hour. Frost or can use unfrosted. Cut into bars.

FROSTING:
Stir together sugar, butter and milk. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips. Beat until thoroughly melted.
