1/2 cup warm water
2 pkg. active yeast
1 1/2 cup warm milk or water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup soft shortening
7 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Stir to dissolve the yeast in the 1/2 cup warm water. In a separate bowl, put the warm milk (I use water), sugar, salt, eggs and shortening; mix well and then add yeast. Add the flour a little at a time, mixing well. Put on board; knead until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl and let rise until double in size. Divide dough for desired size; place in greased pans (I use layer cake pans) Makes 3 dozen. Bake 20 minutes in a 375º oven.
