35 saltine crackers (approx.)
1 cup butter
1 cop brown sugar
1 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:

Grease a 15/1/2 x 10 1/2 inch jelly roll pan. Line bottom of pan with whole crackers. Combine brown sugar and butter in a 2 quart heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Cook 3 minutes more, stirring constantly. Pour mixture evenly over crackers. Bake at 375º
for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate over crackers. While still warm, cut between crackers. Chill in refrigerator until set.
