2 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup sweet milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3-4 cup sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 quart huckleberries
Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except huckleberries. Fold in berries lightly. Bake in a large cake pan at 350º till done.
