1 lb hamburger
3 - 4 medium size potatoes (peeled & cut bite size)
1 small can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin (ground)
1 clove garlic (minced)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the hamburger meat & drain excess fat. Add all the other ingredients & bring to a boil. Lower heat & simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes. Uncover & continue cooking until potatoes are very soft (they will look like they're crumbling along the edges). The sauce will reduce & thicken to a thin gravy.

Serve with tortillas & refried beans.

Once, when you all were young, Mom came to babysit while I was at work. I had taken a sirloin out for dinner. When I got back home, I discovered she had chopped up my sirloin & made this for your lunch. lol. So, I guess you can try it with other meats.
