6 tbsp powdered sugar
2 c flour
1 c butter (softened)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c chopped pecans

Directions:

* preheat oven to 350º
* cream butter; add vanilla
* sift flour and sugar together and add to butter
* add chopped nuts (mixture will be rather dry)
* shape into balls the size of a walnut and place on lightly greased or sprayed cookie sheet
* bake 12-15 minutes; cookies should not be more than lightly browned
* while still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
