Ingredients: 2 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast 1/2 tsp. brown sugar 1 1/2 c. warm water 1 tsp. salt (preferably Kosher salt) 2 Tbsp. olive oil 3 1/3 c. (or more) flour

Directions:1. In large bowl, dissolve yeast and brown sugar in warm water. Let sit 10 min. 2. Stir salt and oil into yeast solution. Mix in 2 1/2 cups flour 3. Turn dough onto well-floured surface and knead in remaining flour until dough is no longer sticky. Place dough in well-oiled bowl and cover with clean cloth. Let dough rise until double, about one hour. Punch down dough and form a tight ball. Allow dough to rest for a few minutes before rolling out. Use for favorite pizza recipe. 4. Preheat oven at 425º. If you are baking dough on a pizza stone you may place your toppings on dough and bake immediately. If you are baking your pizza in a pan, lightly oil the pan and let dough rise for 15-20 min. before topping and baking. 5. Bake pizza in preheated oven until cheese and crust are golden brown, about 15 minutes. |

Notes: Friday night is Pizza Night at the Miller house. My family prefers my homemade pizza to any restaurant pizza.This truly is the best and easiest pizza recipe I have found and I have tried A LOT of different recipes.
