yellow cake mix
1 package lemon Jell-OŽ
4 eggs
⅓ c oil
1 c water
˝ stick butter
2 c powdered sugar
⅓ c lemon juice
˝ t lemon zest
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 5 ingredients until batter is well blended. Pour into 9" x 13" baking pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. While cake is baking, make sauce. In small saucepan, melt butter. Add powdered sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest. Bring to boil and remove from heat. After cake is removed from oven and still hot, poke holes in top with meat fork. Spoon topping over cake. Cool completely. NOTE: May serve as is, or frost with icing of choice.
