3/4 cup applesauce
2 (2.37 oz.) bottles ground cinnamon
Cookie cutters
Drinking straw
Pretty ribbon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 200º, Mix applesauce and cinnamon in mixing bowl until ball forms. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Make a hole at top of ornament with straw. Transfer to baking sheet. Bake 2 1/2 hour. House smells amazing. When done transfer to wire racks to let cool. After completely dry can decorate with craft paint markers or leave plain and insert ribbon in hole to hang.

As a child I remember making these with Aunt Norma and my sister. We thought they were so neat. We made heart Christmas ornaments and they lasted quite a while. And smelled amazing!
