5 1/2 cups flour
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups soft lard (key ingredient)
1egg

Directions:
Directions:
Blend first four ingredients. Put egg in cup and beat with fork. Fill cup with water. Add to mixture and mix well.
Divide into 6 parts and roll into 6 pie crusts using floured rolling pin. Fold pastry into fourths and add to pie pan unfold and ease into plate pressing firmly against sides and bottom . Trim overhanging edge of pastry 1 inch. Fold and roll pastry under even with pan Prick bottom and side of pastry with fork . Bake in preheated oven 425 8-10 minutes.
May also leave in icebox or today known as refrigerator and use as needed. Never gets to dry and always easy to handle
