2-3 sm Yellow Squash chopped
1/2 c Onion chopped
10-12 Saltine Crackers crumbled
1 Egg
1/4 c Milk
1/4-1/2 c Cheddar Cheese cubed

Directions:
Directions:
Parboil chopped squash and onion. You can use left over cooked squash too. Mix in crumbled crackers, egg and milk. Stir to combine. Add cheese pour into greased baking dish. Bake at 350º until hot and bubbly.

Mom couldn't get Lincoln to eat or even try cooked squash until she fixed this one time. Then he wanted it every time he came out. Then daddy mentioned one night that it had squash in it and mom thought "well that's it, he won't eat it now" but he still asked for it when ever he spent the night.
