Directions:
Peel and cut into small pieces about 3 apples, cook in 2 tsp butter for 5-7 minutes to soften. OR I use a jar of my canned apple pie filling and put in blender for a minute to chop up smaller. MIx together streuzel mixture and set aside. (Apple pie filling recipe in book)

MIX together cake batter, pour into greased or sprayed 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle streuzel mix on top of batter, distribute evenly over top, drizzel carmel over top and bake 350º for 45 minutes, then cover with tin foil and bake 25 minutes more, toothpick won't come out clean. Take out of oven, let set, can drizzle more carmel over top. Is very moist and stays well in fridge for a week or more.
