2 1/2 lbs. small red potatoes
1/3 c. chopped onion
4 slices thick sliced bacon
5 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
1/3 c. mayonnaise

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes with the jackets on until tender. Peel and cut while still warm. Cut bacon in small pieces and fry until crisp. When bacon is about half cooked, add onions and celery. Stir bacon, onions, celery, hot grease from bacon, and potatoes until well mixed. Stir the sugar into the vinegar until dissolved. Add this to the potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Add mayo and mix well again. Serve at room temperature.
