1 cup butter
1 cup shortening
1 cup powder sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
4 cups flour
1 tsp. cream tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. cream
1/2 cup
Flavor to taste (Vanilla, Almond, Lemon or your favorite flavor)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, butter, adding sugar, cream, flavoring and eggs. Sift together flour, cream tartar, soda. Slowly add flour to sugar mixture. Roll into small balls and flatten on cookie sheet with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Baked 8-10 minutes at 350º.
