1 1/2 T. butter
3 T. flour
1 1/2 cups milk
3 to 4 teaspoons dry ranch style dressing mix
1/4 -1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chopped onion
2 gloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups fresh mushrooms
1 1/4 pounds fresh green beans, cooked until tender crisp
1 cup fresh bread crumbs

Melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in flour. Cook 2 minutes, stirring. Stir in milk, whisking. Bring to a boil. Cook 1 to 2 minutes until thickened. Add in dressing mix and pepper. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 350º. Spray medium skillet, saute onion and garlic 2 to 3 minutes until tender. Remove half and set aside. Add mushrooms to the remaining onion mixture in the skillet. Cook 5 minutes. Combine mushroom mixture, green beans and sauce in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Combine bread crumbs and remaining onion mixture over casserole. Bake, uncovered until bubbly, 20-30 minutes.
