My Gram Dodds made this recipe for the Holidays and for cookie trays for wedding. My brother Rob is legandary in the family for once eating an entire 3# batch of fudge on his own when he was supposed to be transporting it to Dana's wedding. He had to confess when Gram questioned the kitchen staff about why there was no fudge on the cookie trays. They presented her with the three empty bakery boxes with string still intact. Somehow he managed to eat all the fudge without fully opening the boxes.
