Flatbreads are a blank canvas. You can put almost anything on them, throw them in the oven on a pizza stone, and make a meal very quickly.

Preheat oven to 400 º and while it’s heating up, prepare the flatbread. Brush with olive oil and add toppings. Bake until toppings are warm. You can add some fresh arugula and top with honey mustard dressing. Below is a list of ideas.

1. Fig Jam, cheese (gruyere, cheddar, provolone, your choice), candied walnuts or regular walnuts, caramelized onions and balsamic reduction
2. Buffalo chicken (chicken with hot sauce, mozzarella cheese & bleu cheese)
3. Blue cheese, caramelized onion, pear and aged balsamic vinegar
4. Pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, onion and red bell pepper
5. Scrambled eggs, tomato, spinach and cheese of your choice
6. Cooked ground meat with taco seasonings or canned chili beans, diced green bell pepper, tomato, onion, cheddar cheese. (Top with salsa and sour cream after it’s cooked.)
7. Goat cheese, figs, arugula, and prosciutto
8. BBQ chicken, green onion, Jack cheese
9. Pumpkin puree, black beans, jalepeno, red onion, sprinkled with cumin and hot sauce
10. Pesto, bacon, grape tomatoes, Parmesan cheese
11 .Bacon, spinach, cheese of your choice
12. Leftover mashed potatoes, bacon, scallions, cheddar cheese (similar to a potato skin)
13. Goat cheese with sliced apples or peaches, drizzle with honey
