Butt Pork Roast


1 Egg

Directions:

In small bowl crack egg and add a bit of salt. Stir. Add enough flour to make a crumbly mix (should be about pea-sized crumbles.

After pork roast has baked, remove meat from pan and add potato water to the broth from roast. Bring to a rolling boil; dump in crumbles and cook on stove top until no longer doughy.

This was always cooked with pork. Sometimes Mother would add the rivvles to ham and beans to make them a little heartier and to stretch what little food was on the table.
