Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 ½ Cups Self Rising Flour
1-2 Cups Milk
½ Cup Sugar (or Sugar Substitute)
1Tablespoon Cooking Oil
3 Eggs
Optional: Pecans or fruits
Optional: 1/8 Tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, eggs and milk in a medium sized mixing bowl. The batter should drip but not be runny when mixed.
Add oil to aide in preventing sticking.
Depending on the waffle iron, use about 1/2 cup of batter per waffle.
Cook until desired doneness.

As an option, you can add pecans, blueberries, bananas, etc. directly into the batter. Use caution though, fruits tend to stick to the waffle iron making removal difficult. Cooking spray applied to the waffle iron before each waffle can help reduce sticking problems.

The addition of Vanilla is also an option that gives a bit of a different flavor to the basic waffle.

This recipe was shared with me by my wife's friend Sam Brown. It is the best waffle recipe I have ever tried!

The Vanilla addition was shared with me by my friend Janice Ramsey, and is something she has been adding to waffles for a long time!
