Filling

6 cups peeled, sliced apples (granny smiths work well)
3 T flour
½ cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt


Topping:
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup flour
½ cup quick oats

Directions:
Directions:
Caramel sauce (homemade or store bought)
1 prepared pie crust

Fill pie crust with apple mixture. Crumble topping on top. Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes or until you see crust is golden brown.

Remove from oven. Drizzle caramel sauce over pie while hot.

This pie freezes beautifully. To use after freezing, remove from freezer and let it come to room temperature. Can be warmed through after defrosting.
