5 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 pound ground beef
6 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
1 can (10.75) condensed golden mushroom soup
3 teaspoon butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place potatoes in saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to simmer and cook until tender. Drain and mash. Fold in cheddar cheese and season to taste. While the potatoes are cooking, crumble the beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain off the grease, then stir in the golden mushroom soup. Transfer to an 8 inch square baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top. Dot with butter. Bake 20-30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
