Ingredients: Bottom Crust
2 Tab firm margarine 1 cup bisquick 2 Tab milk
Filling 1/4 cup margarine 1/4 cup bisquick 1 Tab mince onion 1/8 tea pepper 1 1/4 cups chicken broth 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables 1 1/2 cups cut-up cooked chicken
Top Crust 1/2 cup bisquick 1/3 cup milk 1 Tab margarine, melted

Directions:Heat oven to 400º
Bottom Crust 9x1 1/4 inch pie plate Cut margarine into baking mix until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir milk until mixture begins to form a ball and cleans side of bowl. Pat on bottom and up to rim of ungreased pie plate. Bake 5 minutes.
Filling; Heat margarine in 2 quart saucepan until melted. Stir in 1/4 cup baking mix, the onion and pepper. Cook stirring constantly. until mixture is bubbly. Slowly stir in chicken broth; Stir in chicken add vegetables. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute.
Pour chicken mixture into bottom crust.
Mix ingredients for top crust until smooth. Pour evenly over chicken mixture; spread gently to edge.
Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving |
