6 thinly sliced apples, peaches or pears
1/4 water
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup oats
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine fruit and water, then add sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir until fruit is coated and place in 8" baking dish.
2. Combine topping ingredients; mix well. Sprinkle over fruit.
3. Bake 30-35 minutes or until fruit is tender. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping.
