3 3/4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened baking cocoa
4 t. baking soda
2 c. Miracle Whip© salad dressing
2 c. cold water
2 t. vanilla
Powdered Sugar if desired

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 13" x 9" cake pan. Mix all ingredients together; beat for 2 minutes. Pour cake batter into prepared cake pan. Bake for 50 minutes - test if done with a toothpick. Will be moist but not gooey.

Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Rich, moist chocolate cake from my childhood. Using frosting makes it too rich, so no need to frost. Always called "Mayonnaise" Cake even though it calls for salad dressing - not sure why. - Tina
