1 lb. hamburger
1 T. onion, minced OR use 1/2 t. dried onion powder
2 T. flour
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
Cooked medium to wide noodles

Brown hamburger and onion (powder). Drain. Stir in flour until well coated. Stir in soup and simmer for 10 minutes. Add sour cream and simmer until warm.

TIPS:
1) Even though I have mushroom haters in the family,I still used cream of mushroom soup because it tastes so much better than the other cream soups that I've tried substituting. If you have a mushroom hater - use GENERIC cream of mushroom soup. It has the smallest pieces of mushroom in the can compared to Campbell's, etc. and goes undetected by the mushroom hater. ~ TB

2) If you need this recipe to feed more people, you can keep the same amount of meat, onion and flour. Just double the soup and sour cream. ~ TB
