1 pie crust
1 TBS butter
2 cups chopped sweet onion (such as Vidalia)
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 egg
cup milk
tsp salt
Dash hot sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350

Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add onion and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until softened but not browned, stirring occasionally. Spoon onion into pie crust.

In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and egg with an electric mixer until smooth. Blend in milk, salt and hot sauce. Pour mixture over onions.

Bake 45 minutes or until set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
